He graduated from Eastern Washington State College with a bachelors degree in psychology and sociology. He taught primary and secondary school in California and Washington before beginning his writing career. He has been awarded dozens of awards and honors for his exceptional writing. All his books are about high school boys who have to deal with the social difficulties of high school. Since Angry Management is about a high school boy, I can easily relate to it because I am in high school right now.
