Text to Self: In Whale Talk, T.J. Jones hates it when innocent animals get hunted by people. I also hate when innocent animals get hunted by people. Some people kill innocent animals just because it is their hobby. I think that is a terrible hobby. I hate it when people kill innocent animals just for fun. T.J. Jones also hates it when people kill animals just for fun. People should not kill animals just for fun.
Text to Text: In Whale Talk, Chris Coughlin gets bullied by Mike Barbour for having disabilities. Similarly, in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter gets bullied by Malfoy and other Slythirins because of his nerdy look. Bullying should stop and people should just keep their bad feelings to themselves.
Text to World: In Whale Talk, T.J. Jones is of mixed race. He is a Caucasian, African-American, and a Japanese American. He sometimes feel discriminated because he initially doesn't have many friends because of his mixed race background. Just like T.J. Jones, there are many people of mixed race in the world. Some of them also feel discriminated just like T.J. Jones. People of mixed race should not feel discriminated and should feel proud of their identity.
